FIRE SERVICES (ANCHOR POINT
TO EDDIES COVE EAST)
NorPen has expanded it's boundaries beyond waste management which will include
fire protection services. Government granted approval to NorPen to operate the Straits Volunteer Regional Fire
Department. The Provincial Government will invest $232,000 in this initiative. NorPen is very pleased to
be given the opportunity to provide an effective fire service program to residents of Anchor Point to Eddies Cove East.
NorPen is looking forward to working with government, communities and the existing fire department on this regional activity.
